Put It On My Tab: Stone Setting with Project X With Michael Marx
What you’ll learn:
In this one-day class, experienced metal clay students will learn how to tab set stones into fired metal clay. Using a two-stage firing method that uses both a kiln and a torch, students will make multiple elements in metal clay only that will come together to set their stones. The class is designed for the intermediate to advanced metal clay student. This will expand a student's abilities to set stones that can not be fired in place in a fun and beautiful manner.

List of required tools and materials for online students: Basic Hand Tool Kit, 15g of Project X .999 Flex Clay, .999 Oil Paste, Kiln, Torch, Textures, Small Cutters or templates, Chain Nose Pliers or Nylon-Jawed pliers.
Pricing:
In-Person: $195.00 registration plus there will be a $55.00 kit fee payable on the day of the class.. Cabochons will be available for purchase in the store at Clay Revolution. Students may provide their own cabochon - please note the cabochon can be no bigger than 30mm x 22mm.
Online With A Kit: $255.00 Registration plus kit which includes: 15g .999 Flex Project X clay, texture, template, and necessary solder paste. Online students must provide their own cabochon no bigger than 30mm x 22mm.
Online With No Kit: $195.00 Registration includes the link for the Zoom Class that will be viewable for 30 days. Student to provide their own tools and materials.
