The flat back of the stone allows for maximum surface area without needing deep clay to accommodate the deep facets on traditional shapes. These fireable stones are perfect for embedding into metal clay and firing in place.
However, please note that colors are unstable and may change in firing. It is recommended to fire blues and greens at low temperatures or in carbon environments.

Below is a list of our tested firing:
1650F for 1 hour:
Garnet, Orange, Pink, Champagne, Topaz (Golden Yellow), Lavender, Clear, Sapphire, Olive, Violet, Ruby
1500F in carbon 1 hour:
Blue Topaz, Aquamarine, and Peridot
1400F for 15 minutes:
Emerald and Black
1100F in carbon 15 minutes:
Tanzanite
