Join Stephanie Chavez in this fabulous workshop. Inspired by the beauty of glass shards and fragments, this pendant design captures their essence. In this workshop, you'll learn how to incorporate uniquely shaped pieces of glass into metal clay settings that are both decorative and secure. You'll also master the technique of co-firing these two materials, carefully accounting for their differing rates of shrinkage and expansion.
This piece will be kiln fired. Because of the nature of glass it will need to be cooled slowly. You will need to return to pick up your piece the next day or by Saturday. Your piece can also be mailed to you.
