Take your metal clay skills to the next level with this thoughtfully engineered pendant! In this workshop, you’ll learn how to create and combine multiple design elements into a piece that is meticulously constructed, balanced, and beautifully finished.

You’ll learn how to precision-set a fireable CZ, construct a secure and decorative bail, and build a support system that adds both strength and visual interest to your pendant. But the real showstopper comes next—you’ll learn how to inlay fine silver into bronze, creating a striking contrast between the warm tones of bronze and the bright, luminous finish of silver.

Along the way, you’ll explore techniques for working with bronze base metal clay, including firing and finishing your piece to bring out its beautiful color, texture, and shine.

Base metal clay requires an extended firing process, because of this your finished pendant will be available for pickup the following day or can be mailed to you at no additional cost.

Because of the detailed construction and precision required for this piece, previous metal clay experience is highly suggested. This workshop is best suited for students who are comfortable working with metal clay and ready to take their skills to the next level.

Material Kit Includes: Bronze base metal clay, fine silver for inlay, fireable CZs, use of shared tools, consumables, and printed instructions. All tools will be provided for students to use during class. Kit fee $40

Please note: The material fee is based on current metal and material costs as of August 2026 and is subject to change based on fluctuations in metal prices and supply costs.
