Totally Tubular: Tube Set Stud Earrings
Tired of clunky and chunky settings in metal clay? This exciting workshop will teach you how to fabricate sleek and clean tube settings that will make metalsmiths do a double take.
Students will first make the tube and then cut the perfect seat in the greenware state to fabricate two sleek tube settings to add to their earring designs. You will have the option to insert embeddable findings or attach stems to give your earrings a sassy swing.
Demos for soldering posts to create stud earrings and more, will offer some creative choices for your settings.
Materials Included in the kit: 15g .999 Project X, texture papers, sanding and polishing papers and sponges, .925 posts, fine silver embeddable findings, .925 16g wire, ear wires, assortment of 4mm CZs and instructions.
