Who doesn’t like a good statement piece? In this fun workshop, inspired by jewelry legend Eva Sherman, construct a whimsical cuff out of metal clay jump rings! The best part? We will build this flat and bend and shape post-firing. Master coiling, snake rolling and jump ring making and design a unique cuff that will turn heads. There will be demos on adding patina, texture and attaching stone settings pre and post-firing.
Beyond Beginner. Students should have some metal clay experience.
All tools necessary will be available to use. Kit includes 25g Project X silver clay, texture papers, teflon worksheet, sanding and polishing materials, patina, consumables and instructions.
Project completion will be based on student experience. Some projects may need to be picked up the next day. Students should bring optivisor or visual aid. Personal lighting is strongly recommended.
