Ba-Ring It On: Metal Clay Ring with Bezel Set Stone
Let's face it. You love setting stones in metal clay but the options of CZs and dichroic glass sometimes pale to the juicy amethyst and turquoise we want to add to our designs... until now!
In this class, you will create a gorgeous metal clay ring and then set your favorite non-firable stones in fine silver bezel wire without soldering!
Add embellishments, faux wire border, granulation for a unique design. Option to add patina to make your project pop and learn ways to polish using different tools to give your pieces that professional look. Chockful of useful tips and tricks along the way, this workshop will take your metal clay designs to a whole new level.
Depending on skill level, some students will pick up their fired piece after class.
Materials Included in the kit: 15g .999 Project X, gemstone, special paste formula, fine silver bezel wire, texture papers, polishing papers, sponges and materials, teflon work surface, template, patina, consumables and instructions.
Kit fee payable to instructor during class: $78
